Alexis Bistro (The Gardens Mall, Mid valley KL)
Alexis Bistro a long standing classic bistro in Kuala Lumpur since 1995. It offers Western and Asian foods, their cakes are definitely something to indulge with a coffee or wine. The environment was great and relaxing, very clean with luxury design. Moreover the dining area is family friendly with kids and babies which makes the entire dining experience very comfortable.

Bucatini Carbonara
Bucatini is actually the name of the type of pasta which is slightly thicker than spaghetti and it has a little hole running through the center of the pasta. The Carbonara cooked with beef bacon and mushrooms topped with parmesan cheese and parsley, the creamy egg sauce was slightly thick but it wasn't overpowering and has a very nice wok hay (Breath of the wok) taste to the dish which light up the entire dish.
Alexis Burger
Alexis Burger served with rosemary scented french fries, I would say this is a proper burger because it's a brioche bun with nice buttery taste and soft in texture. The beef patty was nicely seasoned and cooked to medium doneness. The combination of this burger was spot on, even the size of every layers are nicely done.
Raspberry Soda
However, the Raspberry Soda was rather okay only as I was expecting some raspberry puree but unfortunately it wasn't but it is still a good and high quality raspberry syrup. Overall the drink is very refreshing and pleasant to enjoy.
In conclusion, the restaurant was great from entering with warm service waiter to the entire dining experience was just relaxing and pleasant. Even during dining, the waiter took initiative to provide us with baby chair and smaller plates n cutlery for our kids.
Will I come back to this place?
The answer is Yes. Next visit will most likely to try out their cakes.
